- Verify if customer communicates through Cell Unit Only. If customer has a cell unit then you can simply
update the phone number under “Customer Site” TAB, on right side of screen in “Phone 1” field.
Continue to next step if have landline and Cell Unit or landline only!

- Verify in Event History that we have already received signals on new #
- If signals received
- Contact Dispatch Supervisor Que (11786) to advise that the Panel Number needs to be updated. Advise the Lead or Supervisor that signals have been receive from the new phone number.
- If signals have NOT been received:
- Advise your customer that the system will needed to be tested to verify that signals can be received through the new phone number before the update can be made.
- Transfer to Technical Support ext. 11765
