Whether we're processing an alarm or handling an inbound customer call, Password verification is critical. Without a properly verified Verbal Password, or individual PIN, we are severely limited in the assistance we can offer our customers.
Dispatch
To verify either the Main account Password or an Individual PIN during an alarm or trouble signal use the shortcut Ctrl+P, then click on "All Contacts." Next, select the either the properly given (Site Codeword) or an individual PIN if given by the specific contact it has been assigned to.
Press "Enter" to save your selection. If you selected the (Site Codeword) you will need to select the specific person from the contact list who verified the Password. For some alarms the (Site Codeword) can be verified by anyone answering at the Premise. When this happens you will not be selecting a name from the contact list but will simply notate the first and last name of the person you have contacted.
Inbound
As you enter an account in MAS Business, to handle an inbound customer call, the Contact Lookup list will appear. After visually verifying that the caller is on the list click on the "Verify PIN" button to process Verbal Password verification in the same manner shown above.

A properly verified (Site Codeword) will be stamped into the Event History of the account as seen below.
